No No No !!!

I just told Maddi No, No No and his response to me was NA NA NA, Lord have mercy what to do with these kids. No matter how many toys they have, books to read, space to play they both find themselves under my chair in my little corner trying to play with my phone cords in my little office space.
Today again Sani plugged out my phone luckily I was not on a call, and when I tell her no she shakes her head at me, should this be happening already ? As I just said to Adri who said it would get easier as they got older, well let me tell you people you all LIED.

It was much easier just to hold them in my arms on the boppy, while they ate and slept now when I feed them as soon as they are finished they do this roll and sometimes its the back of their shirts that I have to hang onto so that they don't go flying to the floor JEEZAS..

Anyway they are both running temps today as they are both teething and a bit cranky, so this is all i have time for will update on Memorial Wkend we all had such a blast.

Mothers Day

I hope you all had a fabulous Mother's day and you were all treated like the most amazing human beings that we all are, but if not and you still had to wash the dishes, or go to work that's ok too cus we're moms and it's what we do, our work is never done.
My day was FANTABULOUS :) I know it's not a word but it's the only word I can think of which matches how I felt yesterday. My day started off with hubby waking up and grabbing both kids and taking them downstairs so I could sleep in (God Bless Him) which of course I didn't do cus I'm silly and my mind is always racing, thinking about crap. Anyway, by 7:30am T.J. was up and this was just a miracle as he doesn't grace us with his presence until about 11:30am or so, so for him this was super special.
Dad was busy making me breakfast while big brother tended to the babies. I know you want to know what was on the menu so it was Ackee & Saltfish with bammy YUM YUM :)

Then T and I went for a walk together, this also is a rarity, he was on his scooter and Juno and I headed out. It was nice, we chatted, we sang, we laughed he showed me a short cut so that we could have avoided that monstrous hill.

Then I spent the rest of the afternoon with the babies on the porch , reading and eating watermelon and had myself a nice chocolate martini with a generous splash of Vodka :) Woopee for Mother's Day.
My day ended with a wonderfully prepared dinner compliments of Chef Allen aka Adri my hubby :) We had Orange glazed grilled Salmon, with carrots, grilled corn and greens topped off with a nice glass of California Wine which we had been saving for a while so we thought yesterday was as good a day as any to pop it open.

I feel so blessed and just so happy to have three ( I still can't believe that I am a mom of 3 kids OMG when did that happen) wonderfully, amazing children, who loves me so much and who kissed (bit) me so much that my cheeks stung and who slapped me so much in my face with utter excitement and joy, and who had me rolled over on the floor just because we were just being silly and a husband who loves me. Wow !! what more could a Girl, Mom, Wife ask for. It was FANTABULOUS !!

Road Trip... For my friend.

Yesterday we took a road trip to Bayville, N.J. to say farewell to one of my dear friends brother which is 2hrs away from us and what an adventure it was. So I decided since I had to work before we headed out I would pack our bag from the night before (Wednesday), run the dishwasher so I would make bottles in the morning and set out what we would wear for the day.
Morning ran smoothly thank goodness, we kept to schedule for the most part, got some calls in then by the time we played and sang ABC's for the 50th time it was already 1' o clock. Omg then the mad rush begun.

We got lunch, and now lunch is not as simple as it used to be as I now offer them food from the family pot so its everywhere in their hair, nostrils, ears, where ever you think you could possibly find food trust me it's in there. I found a couple pieces of broccoli in Sani's diapers and a few rice grains in Maddi's go figure :)

The service started at 5:30 so I decided it would be best to leave at 3 so we had time to pull over if needs be or traffic etc. While we were getting dressed Sani was tired and needed to nap as they go down for their second nap at 3, so that was no fun as her new favorite thing to do is try to roll away as you are trying to change her, at the same time Maddi is having a itchy fit and is screaming at the top of his lungs while I try to itch his leg and hang on to Sani who is trying to leap/roll off the bed. Finally got them both dressed and in the car seat, with their paci's. Now time for me to get dressed, Crap it 's already 3pm...Jeezas we are going to be late!!
 We were off by 3:20. My stupid GPS couldn't find the church instead of Morning star it kept on offering me the suggestion of Morris Ave... NO NO NO that is not where i'm going, so I tried for the phone GPS ok that works. Hour into the ride my phone shuts down crap where do I go I remember skimming the directions and seeing something South do I go 1 South or do I keep going down the PKWY I don't know I pulled over while I wait for the phone to power up, back on our merry way the babies are up I had to pull over, climb to the back fed and sang and then off again.

Finally got off the exit and yup phone crashed again, another time to pull over, now the kids are really not happy about this stop and go trip they start wailing, its now 5:20 there is no way I can go back there as I know they are not hungry so I would have t go back there and take them out to play, we were really not far about 10 mins away so I turned up our music and rocked out to the Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Polly put the Kettle on and we were finally there.

It was worth it, I had to be there for my friend there was so much love and support for them. You could tell that he was a remarkable individual, God bless you all and R.I.P.
