When will these kids say Mama!!

I mean enough is enough now!! I know they have to go in order of consonants and blah blah blah, but don't u think of all the things or sounds to say they could just say Mama first like really is that too much to ask?
Whenever I hear them babbling and of course saying da da da and even this morning what sounded from Maddi Daddy while looking at Adri I happily chimed in my two cents saying to him Ma Ma and of course he just looked at me and laughed and went on to say Da da day ... I mean really now kids come on throw your mama a Mum Mum some puffs something sheesh
Any hoo I will keep on pressing on and alert the village when they finally say those precious words MaMa

Father's Day Pics -Bear Mountain N.Y.

Father's day was great, I think hubby really enjoyed it. Started off with Sani and I making breakfast for dad while the boys slept, we made French toast with blueberry cheese and apples, with fresh apples and strawberries. Sanaa' helped by taking the fork upstairs but reluctantly gave it over to dad :) We packed up and we were out for our picnic day at Bear Mountain.
On the menu we had chips and guacamole dip, sushi, strawberries and whipped cream, chicken wrap with chimichurri spread, ham and turkey sandwich, peach with coconut cheesecake and Flip Flop Moscato wine ... YUM :)
Here are the pics enjoy :)

Mini Hurricane

I forgot to share last Sunday's adventure OMG it was crazy !!!! I was in fear of the babies drowning :)(exaggerating)
Sunday we decided to take a brake from the monotony which is cleaning, cooking, laundry and headed down to the lake. Armed with our picnic blanket, babies lunch bag, sun hats etc. we headed out. Big brother Troy joined us on his scooter and off we went, it was a beautiful day, clear blue skies, nice breeze coming off the lake it was a nearly perfect day.
The babies enjoyed their lunch and I was busying myself searching for perfect photo ops, when dark clouds started rolling in, Adri and I looked at each other then reassured ourselves that there was no mention of rain in the forecast or so we thought. So I continued taking photos then noticed that everyone at the beach was packing up then heard the loudest thunder clapped over our heads. (Crap we have to go)

I hurriedly grabbed the kids strapped them in the stroller and started running, Adri was behind packing up the blankets and shouting to me "Run babe, I'll catch up" Shoot you ain't gotta tell me twice I'm off.

Now for those of you who don't know where we live, we have some hills there which is (excuse my language ) a bitch to walk up much less trying to run and push 40lbs of baby in it. Oh God we thought we were going to die of exhaustion, we ran down the hills while the skies got darker and darker, there was that smell of a storm brewing in the air, and the winds started howling, lighting clapped, thunder rolled, and I was screaming. If this rain catches us out here I am almost sure my kids are going to drown, we are trying to run again but my legs are weak I can't make it. A nice neighbor called to us and asked if we needed shelter but we were almost home, only one more bitch hill to go lawd have mercy. Like the little train that could "I think I can, I think I can"  We finally made it home and Adri unpacked the stroller and as soon as he got inside the heavens opened and oh my what a down pour it was. Trees were down, people lost power it was frightening to say the least.
Oh if you were wondering where Troy was through all of this ? Yeah he was home, while we were by the lake feeding the babies he decided that he was bored and left us :)

So much has happened

Hello readers wow sorry it's been awhile it's been ridiculously crazy around here babies are beyond busy now. The babbling is simply hilarious and OMG so loud.

So what's new?
Well lots quite frankly so let me fill you in. Nope no one is walking yet, but they get an A+ for being awesome cruisers. Maddi is no longer doing the wormy crawl he has now joined the conventional crawling crowd, Sani is doing more cruising now and they are both up to no good :)
Maddi is now Curious George, and he is a tipper and a stretcher he stretches for stuff, pulls them down, opens drawer his fav would be my underwear drawer he absolutely loves my bras :) Sani then waits for her brother to get his treasures and then she takes them away from him, which of course frustrates him but they have to live together so I make them work it out. I only intervene when it is absolutely necessary.
Sani loves reading, and is always flipping through a book or and clapping to herself so super cute.
I think they both say Thank you now, it's not very clear but I think they do, they wave Bye Bye to Daddy in the morning but they only do it when they are at a door which of course makes sense right?

On to other things
Maddi's skin has been getting better thankfully, it is just now affecting new areas which causes him discomfort but at least its not all over his body anymore which is fantastic. I took Sanaa to the Podiatrist yesterday as her feet are turned in and her Pediatrician and I have been keeping an eye on it and has now decided that it was time to take action and see what is going on so she has metatarsus adductus www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (in case you wanted to know what that is) so she s now wearing a Wheaton brace whenever she sleeps, we have to do massages with her feet daily 3 sets of 20. Revisit the Podiatrist in 3 weeks and he will then determine if she needs to have a cast on her foot to correct it. So I will keep you all informed on the happenings.

Oh, and I promise to do better with my blogs I will get back to writing everyday or at least every other day :)
Thanks for reading all
