Asthma is scary

We are finally home from the E.R.. Maddox woke up with quite the insistent cough this morning, puked, cleaned him up, put him back to bed, woke up again and we gave him an Albuterol treatment. 15 minutes later no sign of relief,  so we gave him another. Seemed to have helped for about 5 mins then started back.
Called the pediatrician she suggested one more treatment if that didn't work then off to the E.R. for us. Yes you guessed it, it didn't work. Upon ten minutes of being at the hospital he was in his gown, being given Prednosone, and some other steroid and being given another round of Albuterol and another and another.
Sixth time was the charm we are back home, he's sleeping still coughing but keeping a watchful eye on him.
For all those parents with kids with Asthma and or food allergies please watch and know the signs it will and can save your loved ones life.
