Baby Registry

Oh boy oh girl, this weekend was exhausting. We decided to venture out to BRU  (Babies R Us)to register for the babies and I know it has been a few years since I have done this (nearly 12yrs) but WOW. I just can't imagine how these little tiny beings need so much stuff and I mean a whole store filled with stuff, it was so overwhelming for me.

There were more than 10 different types of bottles, each had a different function what happened to the regular plastic bottles that my mom used to use? Then there were different nipples to go with the bottles, then there were bottle sterilizers and bottle warmers and bottle racks and the list goes on.

Then there are the different array of breast pumps the manuals then the electronic pumps now why would I want to pump manually when I could nap and have the machine do it for me ????

Then there were the strollers and the car seats... though we are still searching for one as twin strollers seem to be very heavy and bulky and pricey !!! Now lets get to the swings and the bouncers and the activity centers, then the diapers and oh boy will we need diapers and lots of wipes. So we think we are going to be brave and try cloth diapers hopefully when the twins get to about 8wks so we can save some cash on those very pricey diapers, but we will see how that goes its very easy to say it now cus the babies aren't her yet. I will keep you posted on what happens.

Then there are those cute little outfits and I just can't seem to buy anything yet cus they all look like doll clothes and I'm not sure if I should get newborn cus what if they come early then the newborn clothes will be too big, but then if I buy all 3mths stuff they will be swimming in it. So not sure yet but I did manage to buy 2 outfits as their coming home outfits as they were on sale Buy 1 get 1 free so I bought one cute little dress for baby girl and a cute little onesie outfit for baby boy.

We were beyond pooped when we got home, not sure if i'm heading back out there for that again will do the rest on line :)
