Have you ever wondered what's the big deal whether the baby or babies in my case that you are carrying in your belly is a boy or a girl like what's the big deal it has to be one or the other right?
I know there are a lot of us preggo mommies out there along with our loving hubbie who have their hearts set on one particular sex, whether its a boy so you can grow him up to be another great man of tomorrow teach him to play baseball or football or just to be Mommy's little boy or wanting a little girl so that you can dress her up like you used to do with your dolls and comb her hair and be Daddy's little princess, but shouldn't we be happy just to have a healthy little baby with 10 fingers and 10 ten toes and nose and eyes and ears where its supposed to be.
I love to listen to the ole wives tale of everyone trying to decide what we are having because of the shape of the belly. " You are so having a boy because your belly is so pointy, or thats definitely a boy belly" or " thats two little girls in there because only girls give so much trouble thats why you were so sick" So I listen and I smile while they tell their stories of when they were pregnant too and some bellies were round, some were pointy, some high, some low, haven't heard of the sideways belly yet but you never know I have a few months to go to hear all the other stories.
Another thing why do people think that they MUST tell you their horror stories of pregnancy or labor or they know of a friend whose baby was so sick, or some other nonsense, Listen lady I don't want to hear it there are too many other things that I don't need to worry about that I worry about anyways so please spare me the horror stories.
(Sorry side tracked) So as long as these two little babies and all the other little beans out there come out fine and not too early then we will just be happy and feel oh so blessed that we could have brought beautiful healthy babies in this world and thats all that matters in the end.
