28 wks Update

I'm officially 7months WOOHOO!!!!! Two more months to go hopefully we will make it

At my last perinatal check up 2 wks ago, both babies were doing AWESOME, they both weighed 2lbs 8oz and growth and weight  in the rate of a singleton baby so that was pretty nice to hear. I go back in 3wks as I have perinatal visits every 4wks and regular OBGYN visits every 2 wks which started at 26wks.

As for me I was really interested to know about the contractions that I was having and the constant pressure that I was feeling so the Dr. advised me that my uterus was measuring at 40wks and what does a uterus do at that stage??? It contracts, so as she advised I will be having much more of that and def more pressure as the babies grow bigger and increase their weights.

Yesterday I attended my sister's graduation it was beautiful and so very proud of her, but I think I over did it, as the loo was pretty far so that meant more walking, my mom was yelling at me the whole time that I needed to sit down and stop walking around. As we stood outside for a while to take pics, then had to walk a bit to get to the car, but not without my mom running behind me with a chair:)

I haven't done that well with stairs since 3wks ago as it feels as if I am doing a marathon and I get very winded. However, my sis little get together I had to climb three flights of stairs and that was a killer. The entire time my mom had her eyes on me like a hawk watching my every move.

After we all piled into the car and went to Apple Gate Farms for ice-cream by this time I was in pain I could hardly move my legs, by the time I got home I was in excruciating pain in my lower abdomen and pelvic area. After what felt like forever I made it in the house and boy was I hurting I couldn't get my legs on the bed, I couldn't turn on my side.

Called the DR this morning said to go straight to the hospital, as usual I'm dehydrated.... what else can I or should I do to keep hydrated but again I still need to drink more I drink at least 8-10 bottles of water or juice combined with water a day so I had to get IV again. Guess what they mentioned again... " Oh remember u r carrying twins so u will feel lots of pressure and lots of pain as u r measuring at about 38 or so weeks so you will feel more pain than the average woman that is carrying a singleton" Do I not know by this time that I am carrying twins ????

They gave me nothing for the pain but told me to go home and take it easy ....REALLY PEOPLE, that's what I was doing before you all said to come on in for observation, so as you can tell I am a little annoyed but happy that the babies are OK.

I will continue to take the pain and whatever pains there is to come as long as these babies will stay in there and keep cooking. My next thing to get is a chimmey (bed pan) so that I don't have to walk all the way to the loo, as that is dreadful right now.

To all the preggo ladies out there good luck and we are now all in the third trimester and just weeks to go let the count down begin !!!!
