So it started again. CONTRACTIONS !!!!!!!! Gosh they hurt and these aren't even the real stuff, I can't imagine what the real ones are going to be like. Well I do remember faintly but its all a blur now.
I was in labor with my son for 28hrs, if I counted from the day it started I could say I was in labor for 4 days !!!! OMG and to think he gets fresh with me, you know children they are a blessing but sometimes they need a little reminder of what you went through with them. My labor started with Troy on a Thursday so my mom and I went walking, as you know this is known for speeding up labor, however I think the rocking sensation put to him sleep , plus I wanted season rice with sorrel, so mommy made me some and I think all that heavy food or maybe the sorrel put him to sleep who knows :) It started again on Friday we went to the hospital but I was only 1cm dilated so they sent me home. The pain was there but nothing too significant and again it tapered off.
So I figured since it was being delayed this is a great opportunity to bring my puppy at the time (Princess) to get a haircut and a nice shower, swing by Rite-Aid with my mom to print some pics, then I started feeling the sharp cramps again, ahhh nothing to worry about I thought lets keep shopping this baby isn't ready yet. My mom saw me and said lets go Chris this is the real thing. So off we went again still 1cm they kept us there until 3pm or so and then sent us home again. So I decided to take it easy, some family and friends came over since they heard I have been laboring since Thursday, they left about 12am that morning and by 1am OMG what the heck is this I am going to die, I felt like something was being ripped from my body. I tried to walk, sit, stand OMG nothing is working so off to the hospital we go again. The car ride was a blur got there and naive me said "oh I want to wait as long as I can before getting the epidural, well apparently this kid had no intentions of coming and I started to shake, I felt like I was in Iceland naked.
So long story short the kid came Sunday morning at 10:08am 8lbs 11oz 21 inches long.
So for these two little ones I am just not sure what is going on I was contracting most of the day yesterday, which was accompanied by back- aches, so Dr is ready to put me on disability he has been threatening me for a while but I kept saying no but I will stop being stubborn for the sake of these two little ones and follow drs orders, and apparently everyone else.
I may need duct tape though to close the opening, they may be seeing the light :) Stay away from the light babies, stay away from the light
