What to wear when your Oh so big

So being IV free I decided it was time to explore the big exciting world of shopping yesterday and Oh how disappointing it was. I think i'm in denial of my new expanding size (though extremely grateful and  thankful) its still a bit of an adjustment.

I am not a fan of maternity clothes as  I think they are just not hip enough:) but I went to Motherhood and I must say not too bad, but before I went there I was everywhere else now mind you I am coming from a size 0-2 from a nice lean 118-120lbs to now being a 150 !!!! Yup you heard write 150 or maybe 151 give or take the time of day so its very hard for me to go for the bigger size.

So I went into one of my regular stores just trying to buy an undershirt as now all of my clothes are tight, either it won't past my growing bosom or my shirts are sitting on top of my belly. I tried going for Adri's shirts but even those are getting a bit snug not to mention my jeans they won't past my new bulging thighs, and the one pair that will the buttons are sooo far apart so I have been tucking those parts into the seams of the pants :)

Anyway so I looked at a large and I thought oh that definitely will fit, so I picked that up and I saw some really cute tops and ooh they are on sale for $8 so I pick up a few of those too and look tights for $8 wow I lucked out.

So I get home with my purchases and I'm showing it to the family and everyone is looking like really Chris do u really think thats going to fit that belly?? So I'm ignoring the looks until T.J said to me "Ma thats not going to fit that belly have you seen your belly"? and Adri being the sweet guy that he is said "Babe, really I don't think thats going to fit you may need a little size bigger" So in my effort to prove them all wrong I said just wait and see you guys are all wrong..... I guess they weren't they were all either tight or will last another week easily so back to the store I go but not without the help of my sister as clearly I'm in denial.

Y couldn't I be one of those preggo ladies with the cute little belly, and get to buy just a size bigger not 2/3 sizes larger than norm... but I guess thats the journey of a mom preggo with twins.
